Nestled on the fringe of the vast Thar Desert in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, our resort lies adjacent to the famed Tal Chhapar grasslands and the wildlife sanctuary which gives its name to the region. The neighbouring Tal Chhapar Sanctary is a flat, saline depression (“tal”), with wide-open savannah-style grasslands dotted by acacia and prosopis trees — a distinctive ecosystem amidst the arid terrain.
This unique landscape is home to herds of elegant blackbucks, and serves as a vital waypoint for migratory birds, especially during the winter months.
At our resort, we invite you to immerse yourself in the rhythm of this wild, open land — to wake with the dawn chorus of birds, observe the gentle bounding of blackbucks across golden grasses, and to spend evenings under vast desert skies. Whether your interest lies in bird-watching, wildlife photography, nature walks, or simply quiet contemplation amidst wild terrain, we strive to provide warm hospitality, comfortable lodging, and a gateway to nature’s grand theatre in Rajasthan.
Our ethos is rooted in sustainable, eco-sensitive tourism — honouring the land, supporting local communities, and preserving the delicate desert-grassland interface that makes Tal Chhapar both rare and remarkable.
